On behalf of the Island Warriors Memorial Tournament Committee, the COFA Alliance National Network Texas (CANNT), and our CENTEX communities, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us this weekend to honor and pay tribute to our fallen Island Warriors. Despite the last-minute changes caused by the inclement weather, your patience and commitment shone through until the very end. Thank you!
To all the teams, players, and spectators: thank you for bringing so much excitement and energy to the weekend's activities. In our book, you are all champions at heart. 🙏🙏🙏

While every team played like a champion, only one could take home the official IWMT 2026 title.
• Men’s Champions: Kansas City 🏆 – Not only were they dominant on the field, but the positive energy they bring to the tournament is truly inspiring. Congratulations, Kansas City!
• Coed Champions: Out of Ranks 🏆 – An incredible undefeated run to take the title! Congratulations, and thank you for joining us.

Special Honorable Mention & Runner-Up: Team DSD
We had some newcomers this year, and Team DSD deserves a massive shoutout. They were the only team to defeat the reigning champions, and they knocked out our back-to-back defending champs (Team Kingdom). After losing the sit-out game to Kansas City, they caught fire, running through the bracket to force a championship match—which they won! Rather than playing a final tie-breaker, they graciously chose to settle as the runners-up. If you didn’t see them in action, you missed a masterclass in determination. Congratulations, Team DSD, on being incredible sports and an absolute force to be reckoned with!
To all the other teams, thank you for your outstanding camaraderie, patience, and professionalism throughout the weekend.

Current update

Fields are not playable. They flooded more from the rain last night, ground too soft, muddy, and just too slippery to let anybody on to play. Weather is still not in our favor so the only option is to relocate to Fort Hood. I understand getting on base can be a hassle so you have an option to get a visitors pass and come play or get your fee refunded. Sorry for the bad news but our Good Lord must have better plans for us than what we planned.

Sharing some of our Fallen Families messages with everyone. We got feedback from families residing in the US, Guam and CNMI. No respond yet from Families residing in the FSM. Hope everything goes well, and they will receive their gifts before Memorial Day (25May). Thank you for your continuous support

One more week till our 11th IWMT. Looking forward to seeing everyone as we come together to honor our Fallen Island Warriors on Memorial Day weekend. We have reached our desired goal of 30 teams (23 Adults, 4 youth, & 3 Little League) participating this year. Game Format will be 3GG. Below is our General Timeline.

Friday
330pm - Bracket Drawing
4pm - HR Derby
9pm - HR Derby Final

Saturday
8am- Opening Ceremony
9am - Tourney (Men's)
2pm- Honoring Our Fallen Ceremony
5pm - Little & Youth Teams Huddle
6pm - Coed (F2 & F3), Youth ( F1), Little League( F4)
Sunday
8am - church Service
9am - Tourney Continues
8pm- Reception & Farewell Dinner

Little & Youth Divisions are a big part of our event. We encourage parents and traveling teams to bring their kids to our 5pm Youth/Little League Team Huddle, so we can ensure they have a team and can participate in our Tourney too.
Youth Slowpitch. Age: 13-17
Little Baseball Age 9-12

We cannot stress our appreciation for your participation enough and continued support in honoring our Fallen Island Warriors and their Families. We were able to make gifts for all 28 Fallen Families. Most gifts have already shipped, except for four that we will present to their Families on Saturday at 2pm. Once again, we humbly ask for your attendance during our Honoring our Fallen Ceremony as we do our part to honor these Families and remind them that their loved ONE is NOT FORGETTEN.

Giving back to our Fallen Families on Memorial Day remains our utmost priority. We will ship most of our Fallen Families gifts in early May, with the exception of a few families that will be joining us on Memorial Day. Thanks to our sponsors and teams that made this possible.
