The Main Body 1 Welcome Home Ceremony has been rescheduled to begin at 1:00pm EST on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at

Magrath Sports Complex (10050 Tigris River Valley Rd, Fort Drum, NY 13602).

Your Soldier must tell you which Main Body they are on.

The doors to Magrath will open at 12:00pm, one hour prior to the estimated ceremony start time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.

Please see the attached flyers for additional information regarding post access, lodging, dining options, and what to expect during the Welcome Home Ceremony.

Any updates or changes to MB1 Ceremony time will be posted on the 1st Brigade page and website, so please check them regularly. Your Soldier will also be able to communicate updates in a timely manner.

This past week, our Soldiers forward deployed conducted a Change of Command ceremony. We bid farewell to CPT Zachary Carpenter and welcomed CPT Samuel Klausner as the new commander of Battle Company, 1-32 Infantry.

Thank you, CPT Carpenter, for your exceptional leadership and steadfast commitment to the Soldiers and families of Battle Company.

Welcome, CPT Klausner—we look forward to the journey ahead under your command.

Hello Battle Company families and friends,

My name is Hope Brown, and I’m honored to serve as the new Battle Company Advisor. I’m also proud to be the wife of our current First Sergeant, SFC Matt Brown.

First and foremost, I want to thank Ann Carpenter for her incredible dedication and the care she’s shown to our Soldiers and families—her support has made a lasting impact.

It is both a privilege and a responsibility I deeply value to serve as a resource for you—our incredible families—during this deployment. Whether you’re here at Fort Drum or supporting from afar, please know that I am here to offer clarity, connection, and support throughout this journey. If you have any questions or issues, please feel free to reach out here on the company page!

Keep an eye out for our first quarterly newsletter! It’ll include updates on current operations, upcoming events, deployment timelines, and plenty of photos—both from downrange and here at home. Below are the flyers for the SFRG Rodeo and the Brigade Trunk or Treat.

The SFRG Rodeo for the company is taking place on the 1st and the 3rd of October. It will not take all 6 hours, those are the hours that people with be in the booths. You should be able to get through it in around 45 minutes.

Hello everyone!

I’m Ann Carpenter, the wife to Captain Zachary Carpenter, the current Battle Company commander. We are going to be using this page more frequently to keep everyone up to date on events, deployments, and anything else that everyone should be informed on. If anyone has any questions, feel free to message the page.

This page and your emergency contact information that your soldier has given us will be our primary means of updating you throughout the deployment.

Some upcoming dates for events prior to pre deployment leave:

Event: SFRG Rodeo (This is to let families know what resources are available while their soldiers are deployed)

Date: October 16th & 17th
Time: TBD (once times are announced, we will post an update)
Event: State of the Warrior Brigade town hall

Date: October 17th
Time: 5:00pm-TBD
Event: Chosin Fall Festival (Bake off, Chili cook off, kids & adults haunted house, kids scary movie, etc. We will post a flyer when available)
Location: Chosin Footprint

Date: October 18th
Time: 5:00pm- TBD
Event: Brigade Trunk or Treat (Flyer coming soon)

Today we welcomed CPT Zach Carpenter as the incoming Company Commander and said farewell to CPT Ryan Hudson. We wish CPT Carpenter and his family a great command time and thank CPT Hudson and his family for the time invested into this Company. Battle is Better 👏🏻
