Young Elvis and the Blue Suedes are returning to Forsyth this year. If you saw them the last time they came to the FAC, you already know that this incredible show will take you back to 1956 and the Louisiana Hayride and the Rockabilly Showgrounds! OFFICIALLY Endorsed By The Rockabilly Hall of Fame Museum, this tribute show features vintage instruments, microphones & world class musicians! For this concert, you will enjoy an evening featuring your favorite classics along with the sounds of the holidays.

Tickets will be $25-$35 and go on sale on September 21, 2026, at 10 a.m.

We love it when our students pay us a visit. Yesterday, the MPHS theatre students spent some time at the FAC. We took their headshots for the upcoming season, then they took part in various lessons in our building. One class focused on upcoming presentations, another participated in a stage direction activity, and the last class of the day held their first reading of this year’s fall production. The energy was high and the talent is unbelievable. It’s going to be a great year!

The Fine Arts team is ready for an incredible year! 🎭🎶🎨

Today, music, band, art, chorus, and drama teachers from across Monroe County Schools gathered at Bonzu for a special lunch to kick off the new school year. As plans are already underway, this talented group is hard at work preparing an exciting lineup of performances, concerts, art shows, and productions for our students and community to enjoy.

We also took time to celebrate a very special member of our Fine Arts family, Monroe County Schools Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Samantha Trevitt. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

We can't wait to see all that our students and teachers accomplish this year. It's going to be a fantastic year for the arts in Monroe County! 🎶✨

We are so thankful to the Mary Persons High School Class of 1975 for their generous donation in support of the arts! This class is extremely active in the community and we are thrilled that the Monroe County Fine Arts Center was chosen for their charitable donation. To show our appreciation, we are pleased to name six seats in honor of the Class of '75. Thank you again for everything! Go Dawgs! 🖤💛
