Who is ready for the nursery festival!!! We have lots of booths to see, tee-shirts for sale, rides to ride, and a parade on Saturday, March 19th at 10am.

We are excited to say that the nursery festival will happen in 2022.
If you need a booth you can contact the forest hill town hall. If you already was a member and had a booth in the past we will be sending letters out tomorrow.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
The dates will be March 18-20 2022.

We are sad to say there will be no nursery festival this year.

It is with deep regret that the decision was made to cancel the Nursery Festival for the first time in 35 years. However, due to the seriousness of the Coronavirus, and the fact that vendors and visitors come from several states, the decision had to be made. The welfare of our citizens, vendors and visitors has to be our foremost concern. All retail nurseries will be open the weekend of March 20-22, 2020, so everyone will be able to purchase their vegetables, fruit trees and landscaping needs. As most you know, the Nursery Festival is the main source of revenue for Fire District 17. We do have our Nursery Festival t-shirts available for sale, and it has the year 2020, the only year the Nursery Festival was cancelled. Please support the Fire District with a purchase of a t-shirt!

The Louisiana Nursery Festival has been cancelled. I just found out. I’ll will post more tomorrow when I get into work.
