Boil water advisory has been lifted!

The Town of Forest City lifts the boil water advisory after required sampling and testing verified the water to be safe.

NC DEQ Asheville Regional Office was contacted about the boil water advisory. Town staff collected samples from the distribution system for the required testing.

Grab the kids and Grandma and come out for tonight’s Free Movie Friday at Forest City Pavilion On Park Square - POPS! The small splash pad is on and the bubbles are blowing at the stage! Come for the before party and dance to music featuring the DJ’s from the Sound Connection! Tonight’s movie is Lilo & Stitch and will begin at dusk. Concessions are available.

It's ! The first 🍒Cherry Bounce Festival 🍒happened June 14 & 15, 2019 and featured the award-winning bluegrass band, Balsam Range, as the kickoff concert on Friday, June 14! We hope to see you at this year's festival on June 5 & 6!

We are so excited to welcome Unspoken Tradition to this year's Cherry Bounce Festival! They will kick off the 2026 festival on Friday, June 5, 2026 with a FREE concert at Forest City Pavilion On Park Square - POPS! Gates open at 6:30pm and music begins at 7:30pm!
