We are officially ready for receptacles, lighting & fans!!! So in love with the paint job our friend Brian did for us. It's not perfect, it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be imperfect & I love it. It is definitely bright & airy, giving more cozy vibes now. One step closer!

Bathroom/Kitchen has arrived!!!! 🎉
We know not having a restroom in the main building might seem a little unusual at first—but with the plans we have for this venue, it actually makes perfect sense.

By centrally locating the restrooms and kitchen, we gain so much more flexibility. Since our business model is outdoor market first, this setup allows us to better serve vendors, guests, and events while giving us more freedom to utilize the main structure in creative and exciting ways.

This is a big step forward, and we can’t wait to show you all that’s coming next! 🙌

Walls & ceiling are up. Just waiting on trim out then lighting. I thought I would like the look a bit more, but nope. Now to think paint colors. Decor will be rustic shabby boho with plants, woven decor & macrame. Needing input, thoughts, inspiration. See pics for plans for space & color options I'm thinking on. *I didn't bother sweeping since it'll get messed up again when trim work is done so please excuse the mess.

✔️ Wiring is complete (pics are in progress, my electrician made sure to remind me to inform everyone). Pics are a little dusty because I had just finished cleaning up all the wood scraps, insulation trimmings & swept up all the sawdust. Amish are now putting walls, ceiling & trim up!! Once they are done, Derrick will install outlets, fans, switches & lighting. Then Julian's will be back to complete hvac install. That's when the fun begins ...decorating!!!! Just in time to possibly pull off a Christmas party ...or maybe New Year's. Who wants to party?!? We are ready.

A little behind-the-scenes update!

Heating and air has been roughed in—big thanks to Julian's Heating and Air LLC for their work. Today, a load of lumber was delivered to kick off framing & trim work for walls & ceiling. An Amish crew will be handling that phase of the project.

Once framing is complete, we’ll move on to running wiring for lighting, ceiling fans, the kitchenette, and outlets. After that, the Amish crew will return to finish their job. When everything is ready, Julian’s will be back to finalize the HVAC installation.

We’re also working on plans for a separate bathroom and kitchen building. Since our event venue spans several acres, we decided on a centrally located facility to make things more convenient for guests and keep potential lines from crowding the main building.

So excited for this adventure!!

Things are progressing. A little slower than we would like, but life is busy so we are embracing the pace. We have closed cell insulation done ✔️, meter back & inside panel installed ✔️, scheduled for HVAC install for next month ✔️. Up next framing for walls & ceiling, run wiring then walls & ceiling install. Looking at April for a soft opening & hit the ground running in May!!

We have concrete!!!!!!! The Amish are no joke. Not only do they start at the literal butt crack of dawn, but they are efficient. They get the job done & do it right. So happy to be able to move onto the next step & cannot wait to see this project come to fruition.

We have been flooded with party inquiries, but the weather hasn't been kind. We are behind due to all of our contractors...

We have been flooded with party inquiries, but the weather hasn't been kind. We are behind due to all of our contractors being behind as well. This is a good sign though, concrete going in then insulation, electrical, walls, ceiling, & hvac. Our projected December opening will more than likely be pushed back to spring.
