We want to congratulate our students for a great show yesterday at the JE Barrel races & Alabama Coastal Speed Club show! (Some not pictured)

We started the day off in the Halloween Costume Contest Class! Everyone had such cool ideas with their horses. 🎃

We want to congratulate each rider and horse pair for their success, progress, and horsemanship.
Congratulations to Ella, Lily, Layla, Crimson, Sawyer, Maddie, Emma & Natalie. 🐴 We had personal bests and multiple class top 3! 😎

Good afternoon everyone!

On behalf of the entire ACSC production team, we want to once again that everyone that came out yesterday to compete and support the contestants in our October show! 🐎

It has been brought to our attention that there is some confusion on the requirements of our four divisions. So allow me to elaborate:

Open:
A class that has no restrictions on age or riding experience.

Juniors/Juveniles:
These classes are for kids, separated by their age. Juvenile riders are 12 years old and under. Junior riders are 13-18 years old. This gives an opportunity for young riders to compete with kids that are their own ages.

Easy Rider:
This class has a breakout time for each event that riders are not allowed to exceed. The riders that typically enter in this division are seasoned (older🤣) folks that still want to compete, but are not trying to win the whole show. It also gives a great opportunity for anyone that is training young or inexperienced horses. There is no age limitations, so it is available for anyone to compete in.

Our goal for each show is for everyone to have great runs, make memories, and have a laugh or two before the day is done. We have been so fortunate this season to have such a wonderful group of people that have made that happen!

🍂 A FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS!

🐎 Parents & Trainers: It’s going to be windy and cooler this morning! Please make sure your kids’ horses are properly warmed up before entering the arena so everyone is set up for success and ready to have a safe, smooth run!

💧 HYDRATION: Even though the weather will be cooler, please make sure both horse and rider stay hydrated throughout the day!

🎃 BARRELS & BOOS: Pre-entries have ended, but you can still sign up on SaddleBook!

‼️ ACSC MEMBERS: Please remember this is a DOUBLE POINTS SHOW! That means double the entry fees if you want to earn double points! We have posted a list of everyone who received a refund or chose to take a rain check for the August show. Please check the list and plan accordingly!

⏰ OFFICE HOURS

The office will open at 10:00 AM and close promptly at 12:50 PM.

🚨 NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 12:50 PM — NO EXCEPTIONS! Please plan accordingly!

🎃 IT’S SHOW WEEK! BARRELS & BOOS IS ALMOST HERE! 👻

First, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of our friends, families, and competitors affected by Hurricane Isaias. ❤️

We’re excited to see everyone this Saturday! Here are a few important reminders to help everyone prepare for show day.

🏆 DOUBLE POINTS FOR ACSC MEMBERS!

You do NOT have to be an ACSC member to enter the Barrels & Boos $1,500 Added Barrel Race!

ACSC members who wish to run in BOTH events will have their time from Barrels & Boos carry over to their ACSC three-barrel class.

If you’re entering both events, you will pay ONLY ONE office fee and ONE barrel entry fee!

* Barrels & Boos $1,500 Added Barrel Race: Entries will be completed through SaddleBook! You’ll pay with either a credit/debit card or Venmo! Pre-entries will be posted Friday evening!

🎉 GREAT NEWS, EVERYONE! 🎉

We WILL be having the rest of our show season! 🙌🏼🐴 We officially received confirmation from the City via email, and it was also publicly announced at yesterday’s council meeting!

So mark those calendars because we’ve got TWO MORE SHOWS! 🗓️

📅 October 17th
⭐ DOUBLE POINTS SHOW ⭐ to make up for our August show!

📅 November 21st

And we’re switching things up for October! 👀🎃 Instead of Leadline, we’ll be having a COSTUME CONTEST! 🎭

This will be OPEN TO ALL AGES, so start brainstorming those creative, fun, and maybe slightly ridiculous costume ideas! 😂🐴

We can’t wait to finish out the season with everyone! ❤️ Let’s make these last two shows ones to remember! 🎉🐎
