A few hundred miles on it, and I’m LOVING this bike! 🔥

I’ve been putting some miles on the Kove 800X Pro, and I have to say, I’m impressed!

With a 799cc parallel twin pushing around 95 HP, a lightweight ADV platform, fully adjustable KYB suspension, and a 21”/18” wheel setup, this thing is built for adventure!

So far, it’s been an absolute blast on the twisty mountain roads and backroads of Southwest Virginia. Plenty of power, surprisingly nimble, and just plain FUN to ride! It’s also proven to be a great bike for two-up riding, which is a big plus!

Still getting to know the bike, but I’m looking forward to putting a whole lot more miles on it and take it off road more.

Blue Ridge Parkway update….

OPENINGS ALERT🍂

Just as the region enters its peak fall tourism season, recent openings mark major milestones in Hurricane Helene recovery as well as the conclusion of two historic Great American Outdoors Act projects.

Visitors can now drive uninterrupted from James River (milepost 63.7) in Virginia to Little Switzerland (near milepost 344) in North Carolina, and from Mount Mitchell State Park (milepost 355) to the park's southern end (milepost 469) in Cherokee, NC.

In the past week, these sections reopened:
-Milepost 317.5, south of Linville Falls, to milepost 324.7 (Helene)
-Milepost 333.9 in Little Switzerland to milepost 340.2 at NC-80 (Helene)
-Milepost 297, Julian Price Campground, Loops B and D (Helene)
-Milepost 115 to milepost 121 in Roanoke, VA (GAOA)
-Milepost 276.4, Deep Gap Bridge (Regular Maintenance)

Final Helene road repairs are underway from milepost 344 to 355 and are slated for completion and reopening by the end of 2026. Visitors can find additional information to prepare for their fall Parkway travels on the park’s website, which includes regular road status updates, facility schedules, maps and more at www.nps.gov/blri.
