Pssst! Tag a friend who is a fellow go-getter and needs a project😘

As many of you may know, we have a small volunteer crew planning, fundraising, organizing, and overall orchestrating Flo Fest…and we could use some extra help!❤️

⭐️We are going to begin deploying volunteer helpers very soon, starting with some flyering in the neighboring communities this spring, and ending with quickly cleaning up Main Street post-festivities.

⭐️We are also in need of a few Volunteer Captains! More info on our Volunteer Google Form

❤️Community help is essential to pulling off this shindig, and we need some extra hands

Flo Fest - OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS - pop up exhibition🥳❤️

Apply for a spot in one of our ART BOX mobile galleries, on display smack-dab in the middle of Main Street.

Flo Fest is a community-powered celebration in the heart of Florence, Massachusetts. Emerging from the spirit of togetherness, Flo Fest brings neighbors, families, artists, and local businesses together to celebrate what makes the Silk City thrive: creativity, connection, and collaboration!

If you are a maker living in Florence, or have a strong connection to the Silk City, we would love to display your artwork! All mediums are welcome.

We are looking to exhibit work from both established and emerging artists. Artists of all ages are encouraged to apply! Artists may submit up to 3 artworks. More than one piece may be accepted. This exhibition is only on view for one night, and one night only! Saturday, September 19th, from 4-10pm, in the Brick Mill Square lot at 40 Main St., Florence, MA.

Thanks to the generous in-kind donation from Joe at DIY Mobile Box, numerous mobile storage containers will be used to showcase the creativity of the Valley via mobile “Art Box” displays.

❤️Submission are due May 30th, 2026 11:59pm.

❤️we will inform you by July 2nd,end of day, if we have accepted your work for Flo Fest.

🔥Announcing…our lineup for Flo Fest🔥

Let me set the scene: it’s September 19th and you’re in downtown Florence Massachusetts. For several blocks, Main Street has been closed down and a huge music, art, and food festival have taken over the town!

There are performances all throughout the festival, everything from your favorite local rock bands to youth crews, dance performances, acoustic country sets to juggling.

This event? It’s COMPLETELY FREE to attend, you can watch all of the performances, make some art, play some games, and if you get hungry or thirsty, the local restaurants in town have taken to the street and opened their doors to make buying dinner a breeze.

Will we see you there?❤️💋

$10 (or more) donation at the door = your ticket! That gets you in for karaoke (4:00-6:00pm), live music with Friends of Flo (90s acoustic) and , or bid on some stellar goods at the silent auction table!

We will stamp your hand so you can come and go as you like.

A huge huge thank you to the Northampton Arts Council and the Mass Cultural Council for supporting us with a Local Cultural Council Grant in our very first year💜Not only is this financial support crucial in pulling off this scale of an event, but it warms our hearts receiving this support from our community.
