Welcome to The Roost, a small family-owned business in Floral City, FL, specializing in delicious grilled pretzels with a unique hickory smoke flavor. Owned by Joey and Candi Morales, along with their three wonderful children, The Roost is all about family, flavor, and community. Joey’s passion for grilled pretzels began as a child when he had his first one at a baseball game in NYC with his dad and grandfather. Now, he’s bringing that unforgettable experience to life with his own special recipe. Whether we’re in the cafe, traveling to events, or packing Party Boxes and Brooder Box Packages, The Roost is here to make every bite memorable. Established in May 2024, we’re proud to share our love of pretzels with our amazing community. 🥨✨

Sometimes, it's not just about what's on the menu. It's about the people who make The Roost feel like home. ❤️

We want to take a moment to give a BIG, heartfelt THANK YOU to one of our daily regulars, Mr. Thomas Powell!

Tom was kind enough to gift The Roost a beautiful refurbished bench, giving us some additional outdoor seating for our customers to enjoy. It's a wonderful contribution, and we're genuinely grateful for his generosity and thoughtfulness.

Now, if you've been around The Roost for any length of time, chances are you've seen Tom here enjoying one of his regular favorites: either a Biscuit & Gravy Bowl or one of our Pretzel Roll Cheesesteaks.

And if you'd like to meet him, just look for the table closest to Candi. That's usually where you'll find Tom!

Tom, from all of us here at The Roost, THANK YOU! Your generosity adds a little more comfort to our little corner of Homosassa, and that's something we don't take for granted.

Halloween on a Saturday is special.

Kids stay out later. Adults stay out later. Parties run a little harder. Trick-or-treat bags get a little heavier. And tomorrow morning… there may be some folks who wake up wondering exactly what happened last night.
So we got an idea…

Before bed, put those trick-or-treat bags on that high shelf.
Set your alarm for 8:30 AM.
When that rooster crows, slide on those puffy slippers, shake the kids’ bed and tell ’em, “Get up! We’re going to get ourselves a Roost-made breakfast!”
And bring ’em with you.
Because whether you spent last night walking the neighborhood with the kids, dressed up at a party, or just ate entirely too much candy while handing it out…

TOMORROW MORNING YOU'RE GONNA NEED BREAKFAST.

Hot. Fresh. Cooked to order. Made right here at The Roost.
So come as you are. Pajamas? We ain't judging. Bedhead? We’ve got plenty of our own.

Our friends have their stand open today!

They mill their own flour too! If you’re headed back from the festival, this is a great pit stop to load up on some fresh baked goodies!

If you're out and about today, check out the Scarecrow Fest in Crystal River. Stop by the WiN- Women in Networking Citrus County Chapter table and learn about all the awesome small businesses around you.

Afterwards bring the kiddos over to The Roost for a Frozen Lemonade and Pretzel! We have a kids lunch menu too!! 😋
