Is there an organization, music source, class/camp, or other Scottish fiddle resource you think should be included? Please let us know! Our goal is to make learning Scottish fiddle as accessible as possible!

We will have FREE sets of session dice at the competition! You only have to do two things to get yours:

1.) Pre-register for the Berks Scottish Fiddle competition by 9/14/25
2.) Compete at the Berks Scottish Fiddle on 9/21/25!

*Dice sets are also available for purchase at $10/pair. Proceeds from the dice will go directly to funding the competition! Message us to purchase!

Hey all! A couple of announcements here:

- We have had some fabulous donors/sponsors so far, but haven’t quite yet met our fundraising goal for the year - we are currently about $900 short of the goal. Every little bit helps, even if it’s just a case of water or box of snacks - that is one less thing I have to dip into the budget to buy. Donation (and registration/arrival/etc) info can be found at www.berksscottishfiddle.com.

- I will be doing a LIVE STREAM at 12:00 PM EDT this Friday 8/1 over on my primary page, Margaret The Fiddler to answer questions from the chat about the FIRE competition. I’ll be noodling around on tunes in between questions.
