It was a great time on our Open Mic stage this year as we got real nostalgic with it and brought back the flatbed stage.

This was done for our open mic participants and the Berks County Scottish FIRE Regional Fiddle Competition, and seemed to be a great addition to the festival last year.

Pam McIntyre brought some original songs to the flatbed stage with her last year, and this performance of Worry Pie is sure to be a new favorite in your head.

It was a real musical treat last year having Walt Michael and friends on our Main Stage for some unforgettable music.

He brought two friends with, whom he introduces before getting this beautiful instrumental going in full force.

Listen to the sound of the dulcimer, fiddle, and upright bass come together in this classic performance of three musicians who really know how to work in harmony with one another.

Our 2025 Berks County Scottish FIRE Regional Fiddle Competition saw some great competitors in every category.

The competitors came ready to play, and in the Junior Novice Category young Josh came in First Place.

If you’re feeling a little down today, I dare you to take a listen to this amazing performance of Cotton Eyed Joe performed live on the Main Stage of Berks Fiddle Fest and not have a big smile on your face while at least tapping your foot by the end.

This live folk song performance is by the talented three known as Hannah Violet Trio. If you recognize two thirds of this trio, it’s probably because they’re usually at the Fiddle Fest judging the Fiddle Playing Contest.

It’s pretty clear why these are the judges when you hear how they play music - they certainly have an ear for it as well as the talent to perform it flawlessly.

Our Main Stage was a great place to be when Niko Kreider and family brought their trio to it for a wonderful act of old-time classics unlike any other.

The warm feeling and family energy in the air made for a wonderful performance of The California Blues, and gave the audience exactly what they came to Berks Fiddle Fest for - beautiful bluegrass and folk music.
