Still smiling about this year’s Flagstaff Folk Festival 💛🎶 What a beautiful weekend of community, jamming, and the shared joy of music. From unforgettable performances to spontaneous moments between friends old and new, the 2026 festival was full of the magic that makes Folk Festival so special.

A Note from the Director -

Two days have passed. My adrenaline is subsiding, I’ve gotten some rest, and am at last catching my breath after an incredible festival weekend! There are countless musicians, volunteers, staff and collaborators I need to thank for helping to make this year's festival a success and I will do so over the coming days. We have already heard from many of you who attended that you appreciated the high caliber of our wonderful sound engineers, that you felt volunteers and staff were helpful and welcoming, and that the standard of music heard all around had somehow become elevated. I was precise in selecting my sound team and lucked out with my team leads. Each rose to the challenge of making '26 feel like a new chapter for Flagstaff Folk Festival. Thank you all for making my return to festival production better than I could have imagined. Before I turn my attention to pressing family matters, I wanted to share with you just a few of the photos and videos off my phone. There was so much incredible talent to choose from and I regret not being able to see everyone! More professional photos will be shared soon! ☀️ Good morning, Flagstaff! Day 2 of Flagstaff Folk Festival 2026 starts today!

If you joined us yesterday, thank you for helping make opening day so memorable. If you haven't made it out yet, there's still plenty of music, workshops, performances, and community waiting for you today at Coconino Center for the Arts and the Pioneer Museum.

Grab a friend, check out a new artist, sit in on a workshop, and enjoy one more day of celebrating folk music in all its forms.

We’re thrilled to join the excellent lineup at Flagstaff Folk Festival again this year with a closing set of original tunes Sunday, June 14, 3:30pm at the Outback Stage at Coconino Center for the Arts. Thanks to staff and volunteers for bringing the Flagstaff music scene together!
