Sol Awakening

As much as Sol Awakening is a space to bring more diversity to the festival scene and connect with nature, it is also a place to heal for our community. Last year our grandmother Hummingbird held a red tent, a gathering of the feminine to release, heal, and support. A lot of us have gone through pain in this world, but in this post we want to highlight the healing of the feminine. How we treat the women and girls in our society is directly connected to how we treat the Earth. If we want to heal her, we have to heal the feminine as a whole. Brothers stand by and protect your sisters, and as they blossom they will be able to again hold that love and healing for you.

Sol Awakening is an intergenerational event. We welcome all ages because we want to build a community where all the generations are connected again, and not separated. This is a part of why we are also an alcohol free event (but not the only reason). Being alcohol free allows us to open Sol Awakening to children, and shows them a better example, one where we don’t promote relying on substances to have fun.

And as much as we want to teach and guide our children to a better world, we also learn so much from them, and heal our own inner child being around them. So let’s co create a space together where our family can bring the children to be a part of this experience 💞
