Fitchburg Creative

Fitchburg Creative Fitchburg Creative aims to empower our city to be the epicenter of arts & culture in North Central MA. Powered by CoFF33 Corp.

Fitchburg Creative City Partnership (FCCP) is a partnership between community stakeholders, including, but not limited to the Fitchburg Art Museum, Fitchburg State University, InTown Fitchburg, NewVue Communities, Community Foundation of North Central Mass, North Central Chamber of Commerce, Fitchburg Redevelopment Authority, Fitchburg Access Television, and the City of Fitchburg. If your organiza

tion is interested in being part of the executive team, please contact us. Our main program areas we are tasked to address and focus on are Place Designation, Project Implementation, Leadership Development, and Partnership Growth within and for our community. As part of Project Implementation, we have provided the opportunity of being awarded a "Dream It, Create It grant" which supports placemaking and placekeeping projects that directly involve and impact residents, visitors, and businesses in Fitchburg's neighborhoods. In year 1, we funded grants of up to $5,000. Some of the programs we supported were After the Darkness: Artist Runway Appreciation Show & Networking Event, the Gateway Rock Garden, the Quarry Lane Pocket Park, Dirty Kid Apocalypse Concert at the Fitchburg Art Museum, FAM @ Night, Get Righttt Fitness Field Day, Iconics: A queer dance party, Awoken Eye Mural by Artifakt Studios, the Uruguayan Independence Festival, and more. For year 2, we have a total of $60,000 to allocate towards grants of up to $15,000 asking applicants to dream even bigger! In 2023, we organized the Fitchburg Arts & Culture Extravaganza (FACE) Festival last summer and 2024 intends to be an even bigger multicultural multi-day event! Fitchburg Creative Cities Partnership is funded by MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) Creative Cities program. Made possible by the Barr Foundation. TDI Creative Cities is working to build a sustainable artistic and cultural infrastructure within cities as a mechanism for supporting economic growth.

Help Spread the word! 🍱

10/31/2025

I know what it is like to split a box of rice a roni for dinner. I know the struggle of living out of a trash bag...couch hopping...of feeling alone...and losing hope. I also know the love and compassion of complete strangers. People who believed in me...way before I could ever believe in myself. I believe my obsession with climbing mountains began at this point.

Begining Monday November Third, anyone struggling to put dinner on their table are invited to stop in to The Pauper's Pantry between 3 and 5pm. We will be offering take and bake dinners that include a healthy and nutritious dinner for 4. No Questions asked. To maintain anonymity please go to our register and simply state that you are here to pick up a take and bake. If you are without transportation, please call and we will arrange a delivery. Together we can.

UPDATE: We have received many inquiries on how others can support us in this effort to increase our bandwidth. We have implemented a $12 donation button in our POS System (this is what I estimate the food cost to be for a family of 4) please stop in and we will apply your donation. Others have offered to assist with deliveries, I will reach out to each of you directly. Goves farm has reached out and offered produce which is greatly appreciated. If you have an idea on how you can support, send me a pm and we can discuss.
