We have been planning Casa Mariposa for 3 years. Part of my must have was a glass table that can seat 14. I looked all over the internet. Nothing in one piece. Thank goodness for Etsy. I found a vendor in Turkey . It took a month and finally 2 of 3 crates arrived. The third was lost. Another 2 weeks and they found it. Then for the glass. It's 13 feet 3" because Mark had to make it exactly line up with the islands. Shower Doors of Austin finally sourced it. Then they had to bring in a 13.3 x48" piece on glass and exactly place to the mm on the base!!! Building what you want is not for the faint of heart but sooo worth it. The only way is to embrace everything and enjoy the process. We've become friends with the concrete subs, framers, stucco craftsmen, artisan stonemasons, HVAC, amazing electrical, painters and our long time forever Adolfo. I am so grateful and blessed.
