While guests enjoy the cocktail hour in the lower orchard terrace, they also have the aroma from the flowers of these gorgeous trees! They are in the magnolia family and are called Michelia Champaca. They were planted by the owner for their fragrant flowers, great height and their connection to their homeland in India. The flowers are used for worship, worn in a woman’s hair for ornament and natural perfume. They float them in bowls of water to scent a room and add them as a fragrant decoration for bridal beds and garlands.

As the day ends, we walk the venue and enjoy the beauty all around. The Peter Pans, or Agapanthus, are in full bloom. Their periwinkle color fills the venue at each walkway and around the fountain. The flowers resemble fireworks the way they flare out from the center, which is perfect timing with the 4th of July just days away. The word Agapanthus comes from Greek agape, meaning love, and anthos, meaning flower, translating as the flower of love. As our couples say “I do” the Agapanthus is close by, when they enter the dance floor for the first time as Mr. and Mrs, they walk by the flower of love. Love surrounds our couples as they celebrate their unity. Each day that passes, we miss the love that is shared at Bella Vista Groves and we truly hope to be able to fill this space with not just flowers of love, but couples celebrating their love with family and friends. We love you and miss you all dearly.

Weekend Hours and some Fridays!

Starting March for prep and events begin in April, end in November.

Assist manager with preparing the venue for events on day of until end of event. Must be at least 18, comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs, comfortable walking parking lot throughout the event into the late evening.
