The DCC was the top fundraising team at the Run for the Ribbon, a 5K run/walk and 1-mile stroll at the Detroit Zoo! We participate each year in memory of our friend and fellow curler, Pat Cannon.

A special congratulations to Carrie Morris, who finished 1st in her age group in the 5K, and to Stephanie, who was recognized as the top individual fundraiser!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads! 🩵💙🩵💙

The Detroit Curling Club was proud to take part in the Ferndale Memorial Day Parade today! 🇺🇸🥌
It was a great opportunity to connect with the community, honor the holiday, and share the sport of curling with so many people along the parade route. Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, waved, and supported us throughout the day.
Most importantly, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Hi members it would be great to get a few more of us to represent the DCC in the Ferndale Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th at 9:15 am.

We meet in the Ferndale Foods parking lot, 600 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale. At 9:30 we will be moving to our "line up" location. There will be a short service at the Memorial Mall on Livernois, which is walking distance from the parking lot, following the parade.

They would love to see us carrying our brooms, wearing our kilts and DCC shirts, and donning our curling stone hats. We have a club banner that we will carry. If you would like to make a sign to carry, it should reflect the themes of the parade, “Lest We Forget” and “For Those Who Gave Their All”.
