The NACE Mission Statement:
To advance the catering and event industry and its professionals.

The Greater Detroit Chapter typically meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm (exceptions may apply). The National Association for Catering and Events encompasses all aspects of the catering and events industry. NACE is dedicated to promoting the professionalism of the industry and career success for members. It is the oldest and largest catering association in the world with over 45 chapt

ers nationwide. With $200 billion spent annually on events, NACE is leading the way and setting standards for the industry through superior education, training and networking.

Networking – Every one of our monthly events includes time for networking. Many of our chapter members credit the relationships that they have made through NACE as the reason for their success in the industry. Detroit NACE is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity for our members!

We are offering a scholarship for one Detroit NACE member to attend the NACE Experience Conference for Catering and Events, in New Orleans on August 2-4

This scholarship will cover the conference registration fee, giving a Detroit NACE member the opportunity to attend the national conference, connect with event professionals from across the country, and bring new ideas and insights back to the Detroit events community.
Please note that travel, hotel accommodations, and meals are not included.

Eligibility
• Must be an active NACE member
• Detroit must be your primary chapter

With an MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a background in graphic design, Jerika brings a thoughtful blend of artistic vision and strategic ex*****on to her work. Her focus on innovation and brand-driven experiences has positioned ShutterBooth Detroit as a trusted partner for planners, venues, and event professionals throughout the region.

A NACE member for three years, Jerika currently serves on the board as Director of Marketing/Social Media, where she supports member engagement, industry visibility, and chapter growth.
