Music on the Mountain welcomes acclaimed Oklahoma singer-songwriter Kalyn Fay to Vesper Point for an evening of live music, storytelling, and sunset views on the Mountain.

Opening the evening is renowned Cherokee storyteller Gayle Ross of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, sharing stories rooted in heritage, culture, and connection.

Pew seating is available at Vesper Point, and guests are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair if they’d like for the evening.

Gather with community under the Northwest Arkansas sky for music, storytelling, and one of the most beautiful sunset views in Fayetteville. An onsite concession stand with snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

POV: You found the most glowing deck in the city.
Everything You Need to Know: Un Verano en la Terraza
What exactly is a Silent Disco?
It’s a high-energy dance party where the music is broadcast via FM transmitter to highquality wireless headphones instead of loud speakers. If you take the headphones off, the deck is quiet and perfect for chatting!

Is this event really for all ages?
Yes! From toddlers to "abuelos," everyone is welcome. Our headphones are adjustable to fit small heads

Ven a brillar.
Grab a glow necklace, a snack, and a cold drink (mocktails for the kids, cocktails for the big bunnies!) and meet us outside at The Overlook. No voice, just vibes.

The ultimate carnival en el barrio under the stars.

After 13 incredible years at Mount Sequoyah, Executive Director Emily Gentry will be stepping into a new chapter. While it’s hard to imagine the Mountain without her daily presence, we are filled with gratitude for all she has given to this community.
From her early days as Director of Programs to her leadership as Executive Director, Emily helped shape Mount Sequoyah into a welcoming place for connection, creativity, retreat, and belonging for all. Through seasons of growth and change, she carried this mountain forward with vision, care, and deep commitment to Northwest Arkansas.
Emily would be the first to say that none of this happened alone. So much of what Mount Sequoyah has become over the past 13 years was made possible by the incredible staff, board members, volunteers, and community partners who worked alongside her every step of the way.
Thank you, Emily, for your leadership, heart, and dedication to this mountain and the people who gather here. We are cheering you on as you begin this next adventure and wish you nothing but joy and success in the road ahead.❤️

One of the things we love most about the Mountain is getting to work with people who genuinely care about bringing fun, creativity, and community together.

Thanks for continuing to help make the Mountain a little more fun. 💛

Not every Father’s Day memory has to come wrapped in a box.

This year, make something together.

Join us on the Mountain for a relaxed afternoon of clay, conversation, drinks, and creativity as you hand build and paint your own ceramic stein alongside your father figure, son, mentor, partner, or friend.

No pottery experience needed. Just come ready to slow down and get your hands dirty in the best way.

Your finished stein will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup in about two weeks.
