Students at Holt and McNair Middle Schools enjoyed spending time with Joe Crookston! Thanks to everyone at Fayetteville Public Library and Fayetteville Public Schools for organizing this event! We really enjoyed Joe's concert with the kiddos, where they sang and unveiled an excellent portrait of poet Maya Angelou that they worked on in class! We also loved learning more about Joe's artwork. Thanks to everyone who came out for these excellent events!

Writers are excited to pitch their ideas to publishers, while aspiring graphic novelists are enjoying Cole Closser's talk about graphic narrative! Don't forget that Joe Crookston will perform a public concert at 7 p.m. this evening!

Busy morning at Fayetteville Public Library! Graphic novelist Cole Closser is holding a workshop for teens, Joe Crookston performed a family concert that we all enjoyed, and publishers are discussing what they look for in submissions!

There are more events later today! Cole will discuss graphic narrative at 1 p.m., while Joe will perform a public concert tonight at 7 p.m., so be sure not to miss out!

Folk musician Joe Crookston is at Fayetteville Public Library hanging art for True Lit! In addition to his two concerts, we will host an art reception for Joe at FPL on Sunday at 3 p.m.
