The 2026 Cape Fear Rebellion was a hot one in more ways than one!

Thanks to the amazing players that joined us for our second time producing the event and for setting both a pre-reg (288) and overall attendance record (380).

The weekend was warm, and the weather karma kept the rain away.
The back and forth of the event was awesome to watch unfold as Tan won the commander battle on Friday, Green dominated the field control on Saturday, but Tan was able to punch out and get points while still being a thorn in the Green team's side. Tired players on both sides got refocused and rested that night and adjusted plans for Sunday.
On
Sunday, both sides fielded solid numbers to go hard for the win.
Tan clawed back and not only won the day but also crushed the final battle. In the end, it just wasn't enough to erase the lead the Green built on Saturday.

Good morning 2026 Cape Fear Rebellion! Here is today's

Sunday (Switch to opposite base from Saturday)

7 – Chrono and Registration opens

10-2 – game on

2 pm – Stand down, prepare for final battle

2:45 – 30-minute Domination Style Final Battle (everyone meet at North base)

3:45 – awards and winning side announcement in party room at pro shop

The pipes field will be open and lit up slightly from 9pm to 11pm for player run night play. Meet at the North (Camping side base). This is a player open play, there will be no ref staff. Everyone be cool and have fun.
