Washington County Fair The Washington County Fair is the largest and most established county fair in Arkansas. We strive to promote agriculture while developing future leaders.

Founded in 1857, The Washington County Fair is a reflection of the past decades of farmers, business leaders, volunteers, and youth that have, with hard work and dedication, made The Washington County Fair what it is today. Our Mission:
The Washington County Fair Association brings the agriculture and business worlds together to enrich the lives of the youth by giving them a platform to present their projects in an educational, competitive, and safe environment. We provide an opportunity for 4-H and FFA members and residents of the county to exhibit their accomplishments in the areas of livestock, horticulture, home economics, and art.

Behind every ribbon handed out, gate opened, show started, question answered, mess cleaned up and problem solved is a whole lot of people working behind the scenes.

Board members. Volunteers. Interns. Superintendents. And plenty of people who simply see something that needs done and do it.

Some are working on fair week all year. Some practically live at the fairgrounds for one very long week. Some you see out front, and some you may never notice at all.

We definitely didnโ€™t catch everyone in these photos โ€” ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ต ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ค๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ โ€” but they represent the many, many people who give their time and energy to make the Washington County Fair happen each year.

The ribbons may get the pictures, but there is an incredible group of people behind them. ๐Ÿ’™
