ART on the GRAND brings a variety of high-quality artists to lovely downtown Farmington. This juried fine art fair has found its way into the heart of Michigan art lovers and is known for being "art-focused" having a desirable size, great organization and a wonderful, hands-on approach! Fine Artists from around the country are featured and have booths in a variety of disciplines and price ranges.
Different artistic categories include: painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, mixed media, wood, wearable art, glass, leather, sculpture, and more! ART on the GRAND is a FREE 2-day fair with fun scheduled for the entire family! We will again feature the "Kids Art Alley" where young artists sell their artwork. COVID-19 EVENT PROTOCOLS - YOUR HEALTH MATTERS TO US! This year’s event will follow the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) rules for outdoor gatherings with modifications to allow for social distancing. Although masks are no longer required at outdoor events, the ART on the GRAND Planning Team encourages patrons to continue following CDC and MDHHS recommendations, such as social distancing, hand-sanitizing, and staying home if you don’t feel well. Additionally, patrons should note the following:
MDHHS recommends that individuals who are not yet fully vaccinated continue to wear face masks while in crowded spaces outdoors and practice social distancing. Although MDHHS has lifted the mask mandate at outdoor events, some artists may ask patrons to wear masks inside their booths. Reasons vary; artists may have health conditions or vulnerable family members at home.
