Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and dedication have given us the freedoms we enjoy every day.
As we spend time with family, friends, and the traditions we love—including our deep agricultural roots—we are reminded that the values of hard work, service, and community are what make America strong.
From the livestock barns to the show ring, our fair celebrates the next generation of farmers, ranchers, and leaders who carry those values forward.
🐄 Remembering our heroes. 🐖 Honoring their sacrifice. 🐑 Grateful for the freedoms they secured. 🇺🇸 Proud to be American.

The rodeo starts at 7:30 PM tonight, and we can't wait to see everyone there. We did get a little rain last night, but we're hopeful for a beautiful evening and an action-packed show under the lights!

BREAKING NEWS! IT IS OFFICIAL!!!

The Fair Board met this evening at 6:30pm and approved the appointment of the new promoter of Farmington Empire Speedway!!

Many of you guessed it, so congrats to all of you for that.

The new promoters of Farmington Empire Speedway will be Chris Boyd and Chris Bub Boyd

I (Chris Bub Boyd) am beyond excited for this new opportunity! It has been a dream of mine to one day promote a race track. I never thought I would get the opportunity to do so until recently. My father and I have BIG plans for this place! I have worked hard the last few months at putting together a season worth remembering, and I look forward to continuing this as my father and I take on the role as promoters!

I want to thank my family and friends for the endless support and encouragement. You all are my rock! I would also like to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point through their guidance and recommendations. There are many of you, and I thank you all.

I would also like to apologize to everyone that has tried to call me about anything this week. I normally don’t ignore anyone, but I temporarily had to this week in order to make this a possibility, and the work is still not done. I promise I will get back with all of you as soon as I can, but first I have to finish everything else that goes along with taking over the promotion.

With that, my father and I look forward to this new adventure! We cannot wait to see everyone at the track on May 30th for our Blast from the Past $5 Night! We have a few things planned so come ready for some fun.

The St. Francois County Fair Board takes the public’s safety and peace of mind seriously. We are working diligently to have a new track promoter in place by the end of the week and appreciate everyone’s patience during this transition.

Hello everyone, (PLEASE READ)

We would like to announce that, pending Fair Board approval, a new promoter will be taking over Farmington Empire Speedway.

As you can imagine this has been a very quick turnaround, but we are working very hard and very seriously to get this done.

The potential new promoters take this role extremely serious, they are passionate about the sport, and they love our race track.

With that being said, and the fact the fair board meeting will take place later in the week, it has been decided to cancel the races for this weekend only.

Why, you may ask? It was decided that it would be best to line out all of the paperwork, accounts, and anything else before we open the doors. The process has already started, and should be finalized within the next week. Us deciding to cancel allows us to finalize everything and have all the necessary materials in time for the next race.

We will have two weeks off since we were already scheduled to have May 23rd off for the rodeo. That means our next race, and first under new promotion, will be May 30th for our Jr Fan Club Blast from the Past Night! This will be a $5 night, and we will have some giveaways for the fans! We hope you choose to come and support us.

The St. Francois County Fair Board wants to assure the public that, in light of the recent allegations involving the current race track promoter, every effort is being made to ensure our guests have not been and will not be subjected to the disturbing actions allegedly associated with this individual.

The public restrooms and portable restrooms on the fairgrounds have been thoroughly inspected, and no recording or video devices have been found. Moving forward, before each event held on fairgrounds property, all public and portable restroom facilities will be routinely inspected to help ensure the privacy and safety of our guests.

The St. Francois County Fair Board takes this matter very seriously and remains committed to providing a safe environment for everyone attending events at the fairgrounds.

Just a friendly reminder please be cautious of scammers!! Ive been notified I have someone acting as they are the Vendor Coordinator and they have scammed some people and that is not something we like to see!!! All I can do is say please be cautious and always make sure you are speaking to an actual Fairboard member!! Terrie Belvin is the ONLY member that handles the vendors for the fair! And anytime, even if its not our event if someone ask you to purchase some type of card or do some special payment its a scam! We would never reach out and ask you to come to our event only if you want to and we definitely would never harass you to get the payment!! This person is apparently getting around on Facebook so please, please be cautious!
