We are just about finished planning the fair for 2026 - July 22-26. Lots of exciting things, new stuff and free stuff as well.

Here are some highlights - please continue to check the website (www.ricecountyfair.net) and Facebook as we are adding lots of details over the next few weeks:

- Wednesday July 22 - IMCA Old Timers in the Grandstand

- Thursday July 23 - Two Safari Wildlife Shows and Two Alligator Wrestling shows - FREE - in the Grandstand

- Friday July 24 - Big Air Motorcycle and ATV jumping show in the Grandstand

- Saturday July 25 - in the morning - FREE - antique tractor pull in the Grandstand - Tractor pull in the evening

- Sunday July 26 - Enduro Races in the Grandstand

And all our FREE stuff:
FREE - 9 hole mini golf in the Archery building
FREE - face paining in the Commercial building
FREE - Kids Pedal Pull
FREE - Jack Sparrow the Pirate
FREE - three dance studios perform in the Beer Garden
FREE - Remote Control Demolition Derby
FREE - Ambassador Coronation
FREE - All daily music entertainment on the Sellner Stage and evenings in the Beer Garden
FREE - Brodini the Magician
FREE - Hillbilly Bob
FREE - Tuey the Juggler
FREE - all barns and competitions
FREE - Senior Dinner
FREE - Fire Dance Performance by Pyrenees River

And NEW - Dunk tank with your favorite people you like to dunk (3 balls for $1)

Aaaaand - something is going on with the Beer Garden - big reveal party on June 25!

During the winter, we only have the Straight River Room available - it holds 72-100 people. You can bring in your own food and drinks or a caterer. Click here for more information.

Rice County Fair is proud to partner with Latino Broadcasting Group to bring Mexican Rodeos to the fairground, several times every year. For 2026, 6 rodeos are confirmed, with the possibility of adding a few more.
These rodeos help sponsor the fair, so that we are able to bring more (free) entertainment during the week of the fair.
Additionally, the Mexican Rodeos themselves are tremendous fun for all. Lots of genuine Mexican bands, bull riding, food and vendors. These events tend to bring up to 7,000 visitors each time. If you have not had a chance to see it for yourselves, you are invited to do so.

Rice County Fair se enorgullece de asociarse con Latino Broadcasting Group para traer rodeos mexicanos al recinto ferial varias veces cada año. Para 2026, hay 6 rodeos confirmados, con la posibilidad de añadir algunos más.
Estos rodeos ayudan a patrocinar la feria, para que podamos ofrecer más entretenimiento (gratuito) durante la semana de la feria.
Además, los rodeos mexicanos en sí son sumamente divertidos para todos. Hay muchas bandas mexicanas auténticas, m***a de toros, comida y vendedores. Estos eventos suelen atraer hasta 7,000 visitantes cada vez. Si aún no han tenido la oportunidad de verlo por ustedes mismos, están invitados a hacerlo.

Are you interested in experiencing a year of fun memories, meeting community members, traveling across Minnesota, creating lifelong friendships, volunteer opportunities, representing the Rice County Fair, and so much more?

The program is open to both girls and boys for both age groups. Senior Ambassador Candidates are between the ages of 16-20, and Junior Ambassadors are between the ages of 6-10 by July. If you live within Rice County or are a member of a Rice County 4-H club you are eligble to join the candidacy program.

Come join the 2026 Rice County Fair Ambassador Candidacy Program! Applications are currently open for this summer and we look forward to welcoming you!
