Join us Friday, October 9 at 4:30 PM for a special dedication celebrating the Minnesota Governor’s Pheasant Hunting Opener and the 75th Anniversary of Minnesota’s Wildlife Management Areas!**

📍 Circle Lake Wildlife Management Area
🌿 Celebrate the addition of a new 101-acre island of public hunting land, added in 2025 right here in Rice County.

🚌 IMPORTANT: There is NO parking at the WMA.
Please park at Forest Township Hall
📍 3625 Millersburg Blvd., Faribault
⏰ Arrive by 3:45 PM to board the bus to the event.

🎤 Governor Walz will be part of the dedication ceremony at the boat launch, with the event ending around 5:30 PM. Buses will then return attendees to Forest Township Hall.

🍂 Come celebrate conservation, public lands and the outdoors right here at Circle Lake!

Dress for the weather and bring your outdoor spirit! 🦌🌾🇺🇸

🌧️🏃 RAIN OR SHINE — WE’RE RACING! 🏃‍♀️🌊

The forecast may be calling for rain, but Circle the Lake Race is ON! 🌧️💪

We will run in the rain as long as no lightning is spotted in the area. Our priority is always the safety of our runners, volunteers, and spectators.

⚡ If severe weather or lightning requires us to cancel the race, we will communicate the cancellation through:
