Today, this barstool stays empty.

Not because someone is late.
Not because someone forgot to show up.
But because thousands never made it home.

The folded American flag represents those who gave everything for this country. The shot of whiskey symbolizes the sacrifices, courage, and brotherhood shared among our military men and women. The beer sits untouched as a reminder of the conversations, celebrations, and moments they never got the chance to have again.

This empty seat is more than a Memorial Day tribute. It is a symbol of remembrance for every soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, and guardian who paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

Today we honor them.
Today we remember them.
And today, we leave this seat open for the heroes who never came home.
