I have 2 sets of chickens available.
Set #1 Silver Laced Orpingtons
3 Hens and 1 Rooster. $80 for the set.
These are rare to our area and special ordered from Cackly Hatchery and around 18 mos old.

Set #2 is 1 Jubilee Orpington Rooster (named HeyHey) and 1 Hen Jubilee Orpington also special ordered. They are housed with my 3 Rural King hens that are 1 easter egger (no colored eggs) 1 Americana and 1 Black australorp. These are $100 for the set.

We will also have a chicken coop available for purchase once the chickens are no longer needing it or you can purchase the coop and we'll give a discount to the chickens if you want them together. The 5 piece is currently in the coop we will sale.

Hey yaw, it's time for a long winters nap at Falls Mills Farm. While Wayne McKinney continues to build our infrastructure, I'll be working at my day job extreme hours.
You might get a break from my shenanigans. ‼
I am a leader in the Medicare industry and we are at the Medicare Annual Enrollment period which requires my fullest attention. Please reach out if you need any thing from us farm related or even if you have Medicare and need a plan review for 2027 because there are major plan reductions next year and you don't want to be surprised by your plan not working as you expect it should come Jan 1.

Love you! Message if you need my Medicare work number because I can answer most any question you have as a 15-year industry veteran because this coal town girl is very very good at what she does. And BTW I'm licensed in WV, VA, TN, and NC too so most of our area 😁

Remember that salve I made and told you about? I found another use for it.
If you work like we do then your hands take a beating too. I try to keep my hands and nails looking nice but spring through harvest, I'm playing in the dirt. Then those cuticles dry out and snag only everything.
Then what do we do? Pick em'? Bite em'? or get them caught and rip them down our entire fingers. Yeah that happens.
Use this salve on your cuticles and use an emery board to sand the roughness away the next day.

Falls Mills Farm started with a few herbs and an idea.

It’s grown into so much more—and we’re still building.

Slowly. Imperfectly. One piece at a time.

Maybe that’s the real goal:

Not to work until we can finally live…
but to build a life we actually want to live. 🌿

I'm tickled with the organic salve I made. Comfrey is the leading lady with a few supporting actors like mullein, chamomile, calendula, and lavender. I made it to sooth these dang bug bites but I'm finding it's perfect for several things.
It's all herbs that were grown right here and even the beeswax is locally sourced. Simply perfect.

Someone had to sit down, think about you, put pen to paper, fold it up, put a stamp on it, and send it on its way.

In a world of texts, emails, and emojis, handwritten letters are becoming a lost art.

Maybe they’re worth bringing back. 💌

Because there’s something different about receiving words that someone took the time to write just for you.

Today I’m working on a batch of oregano oil—starting with freshly grown oregano and letting time do its work. It’s one more little piece of the old-fashioned, plant-centered way of making things here at Falls Mills Farm.

Slow, simple, and made by hand. 💚
