Veggie Boxes Launch July 2nd, Father's Day Gift Ideas, and why Black Mountain Variety is worth a little drive
Hey y'all,
Thanks for the love this past Sunday! The shop was full, and we had the opportunity to spotlight 7 additional makers with our community at the June Second Sunday's Market. New customers met new local businesses, vendors made connections, and we loved spending time with those of you who showed up.
Now we're looking ahead to a few things we're especially excited about this summer.
"Beyond Organic" Veggie Boxes are Coming July 2nd
Wilderness Muse is an official partner with Encompass Farm! We will become a pickup location for Encompass Farm's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) veggie boxes on July 2nd.
This is a great way to eat more local food, support regional agriculture, and make weekly planning a little easier with recipes sent to your email using the ingredients from your box!
Each box is filled with seasonal produce grown close to home and harvested by people who genuinely care about hte land the community they're a part of.

Save the Date: Plants + Coffee at Wilderness Muse Greenhouse & Events
On Saturday July 11, from 12-4PM, Wilderness Muse Creative Community + Roam Coffee (https://www.roamcoffeebakery.com/) are teaming up again! We're hosting a Plants + Coffee Pop Up at Cane Creek Station. (https://www.facebook.com/share/18aNsGqUx1/)
Cane Creek Station was our first retail location and it became even more important 6 days after our Ribbon Cutting when Hurricane Helene hit. It served as a community gathering space, a relief hub, a workshop venue, and a place where people showed up for each other when it mattered most. This event is our way of welcoming people back into the space as it transitions to our working greenhouse and later wellness hub.
We're also excited to celebrate Roam Coffee as they continue growing their business with their new coffee trailer! Kelsey, the owner of Roam, is a primary force behind a lot of our charity events that we do. Roam coffee focuses on creating exceptional coffee + bakery experiences while building genuine connection within the communities they serve.
Expect coffee, baked goods, a plant sale, and plenty of familiar faces!

Worth the Drive: Black Mountain Variety
Make time to stop by Black Mountain Variety (https://share.google/w48ZF8rpiySWgtPag) this summer! It's thoughtfully curated and does an incredible job showcasing local makers alongside unique gifts, specialty foods, home goods, and unexpected treasures. It's also the home to Black Mountain Vintage.
Several of our makers are residents in Black Mountain Variety, including WILDWEFT, Little Jaybird (found at WILDWEFT booth), Skipping Pibbles Designs, Lost Girls Creations, M***a Designs, and more.
What's Growing Behind the Scenes
Right now we're spending a lot of time investing in the future of Wilderness Muse by improving our current systems.
Our online shop is getting closer to launch every day, and will eventually include both shipping and local pickup options, making it easier to support your favorite makers no matter where you are!
We plan to introduce online-exclusive releases, rare plant preorders, speciality drops, and other surprises throughout the later half of the year.
We're also building out a digital community board and expanding online educational opportunities to connect you with local businesses, resources, and creative learning experiences year after year.
