🌿 Faces of Fairhope 🌿

Meet Nate Fields from the Public Works Horticulture Department!

Nate helps keep Fairhope looking its best every day. One thing he wants residents to know is that the Horticulture Department is the driving force behind the consistent beauty seen throughout our city.

When he's out on the job, you'll almost always find him carrying a pickup stick and a garbage bag, doing his part to keep Fairhope clean and litter-free.

What makes Fairhope special to Nate? The people.

"Everyone is so sweet and nice. If there was a heaven on earth, it would be Fairhope. Home sweet home."

Thank you, Nate, for helping keep Fairhope beautiful and welcoming for everyone! 💙🌺

🟣 June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month in Fairhope.

Alzheimer’s disease affects more than 7 million Americans and thousands of families across Alabama. This month, we honor those living with Alzheimer’s, recognize the dedication of caregivers, and raise awareness about the importance of brain health, support services, and ongoing research.

Mayor Sherry Sullivan has proclaimed June as Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month in the City of Fairhope and encourages all residents to learn more, support those affected, and join the effort to advance research and promote brain health for future generations. 💜

Locally raised Baldwin County beef, fresh Gulf seafood, local honey, organic vegetables, homemade sourdough bread, and farm-fresh eggs are just a few of the items visitors can expect to find at the Fairhope Farmers Market. Beyond the fresh food, however, the market represents something even more meaningful: a long-standing community tradition that continues to connect residents and visitors to local agriculture and the people behind it.

We would love for you to come out and support the Fairhope Farmers Market tomorrow! If you have never visited before, there truly is something for everyone.
