I hesitated to respond, but this needed to be addressed.
It’s disappointing to see people act as though they’re owed something. Events like this don’t magically appear. They require money, planning, labor, insurance, utilities, supplies, characters, and a building that Jim and I personally invested in so families can enjoy something special—indoors, safe, and out of the weather.
The $15 admission covers far more than what it’s priced at: a visit with Santa, a photo, ornament decorating, time with the Grinch, a Harry Potter potion activity, and more. If anyone believes all of that should be free, then they simply don’t understand the reality of what it takes to provide community events.
If the cost is too much for you, that’s fine—participation is optional. But unnecessary negativity isn’t welcome here. There are plenty of free activities available elsewhere.
To those who appreciate the time, money, and effort put into this event, thank you. Your support is the reason we continue creating special experiences for local families.
