Hi folks! So, good news and bad news.
Let’s get the bad news out of the way: no Midwest Vegfest this year. Our organizers have been otherwise preoccupied so it logistically fell through. However there is hope for it to be revived in the future, we will see.
Now for the good news: one of the things we reoccupying our organizers is a new monthly event taking place at called Community Day. It highlights a myriad of different events taking place around town and brings them into one space. This upcoming community day will be particularly splendid. We have a full line up. Going from 11am-11pm, including a vegan dinner followed by a Q***r Prom!
If you’re missing out on Vegfest this year, then we highly suggest making your way to this event. It’s not a total replacement, but it’s quite wonderful on its own and also supports our vegan community kitchen, which serves meals on a donation basis three nights a week.
We’re sorry to not follow through with Vegfest this year, though we hope to see you at one of our community days 💖
