Hi everyone! We just wanted to post an update on the status of the Midwest Open Billiard Championship so we can keep you all in the loop.

1. YES, we are still having the Midwest Open Billiard Championship this year!
2. Due to some logistical issues, and conflicts with other events, we have had to make some changes and these are not quite ironed out yet. When we get them resolved, we will post it here on FB.
3. Our goal is to continue to grow and improve the MWOBC, and we listen to each and every person's feedback. That means taking into account the input of our sponsors, players, and fans when we make decisions.

We really appreciate all of your support and are looking forward to continuing to make this a great event year after year!

Wow! What a finish! Alex Olinger and Shane Wolford fought through a tough field to get to the finals of the 9 Ball Division. Starting with the lag, every part of this match was neck and neck. Both players battled hard but eventually Shane emerged the winner! Congratulations to Alex for his runner up finish and a big congratulations to Shane Wolford for winning the 9 Ball Division!

Congratulations to the SUPERMAN! Roberto Gomez takes down the Invitational 10 Ball Division of the Midwest Open Billiard Championship! Congratulations to undefeated winner Billy Thorpe of the Midwest Open Billiard Championship Banks Division! Billy played has been playing fantastically and has now won this year's Banks and One Pocket Divisions. Incredible shooting to Runner-Up Shane Wolford who surprised a lot of folks here at Michaels Billiards with his banking prowess!! Next up are the finals of the Ten Ball and the 9 Ball Division!
