No previous health concerns. No warning signs. No reason to think she was suffering a stroke.

May 2025, Che-Lei lost her speech twice, she went to the ER looking for answers. Doctors found a carotid web and told her it "may sometimes cause a stroke," but she was also told her symptoms were probably caused by a migraine.

Hours later, while still being monitored in the hospital, Che-Lei suffered an actual stroke.
