📣 Help Shape Fairchild Fun Days 2027!

With the success and growth of Fairchild Fun Days comes the need to strengthen how we plan and organize. For 2027, we’re looking for event coordinators to help lead and manage activities alongside a Fun Days officer, with support and direction from the committee.

Activities we’re seeking coordinators for may include:

• Touch-A-Truck
• Burnouts
• Beanbag tournament
• Craft and vendor show
• Kids’ carnival games
• Car show
• Fireworks
• Charcoal chicken dinner
• Sunday morning breakfast
• Additional activities being discussed for 2027

For food service activities, a background in food service is preferred but not required.

Coordinators will help with planning leading up to Fun Days and during the event. The commitment includes attending meetings every other month and every other week during the final month, staying in touch with their assigned officer, and helping organize volunteers, setup and cleanup.

We’ll review the responsibilities together before anyone accepts a role. The committee will approve coordinator assignments, with roles beginning January 1, 2027.

Want to lend a hand without taking on a coordinator role? We welcome volunteers who can help with individual tasks or shifts, too.

📣 Fairchild Fun Days Meeting Tonight!

The Fairchild Fun Days Association will be meeting tonight at 6:00 PM at Stockyard Bar & Grill, and the community is welcome to join us!

We’ll be reviewing the success of Fairchild Fun Days 2026, talking about what worked and what we can improve, and discussing ideas and community input for 2027.

We’re also looking to grow our Fun Days team! We’d love to welcome more committee members who are interested in serving as Fun Days ambassadors, helping coordinate events, or simply getting more involved throughout the year.

🍔🌭 YOU SPOKE — NOW HELP US NARROW IT DOWN!

Nearly 70% of respondents to our 2026 Fairchild Fun Days survey told us they'd like to see additional food options at Fun Days.

We heard you!

But simply adding another food truck isn't necessarily the answer. We want to offer the variety you're looking for while also keeping food affordable for those attending and making sure Fun Days remains financially worthwhile for the food vendors who commit their time, staff and supplies to our weekend.

Before we decide how to accomplish that for 2027, we need a little more information from you!

❤️ ONE LAST ASK, FAIRCHILD! ❤️

What a weekend! Our community showed up, supported Fairchild Fun Days, volunteered, participated, and helped make this weekend something pretty special.

Now we have one last ask before we can officially call Fun Days 2026 a wrap!

⛺ TENT & FENCING TAKE-DOWN — TODAY AT 5:30 PM

We need a few extra hands to help take down the tent and fencing and get everything cleaned up and put away.

The good news? Taking it down is a whole lot easier than putting it up! 😄

If you can give us just an hour to an hour and a half, we would greatly appreciate the help. The more hands we have, the quicker everyone gets to head home!
