Meeting Location Update: YQA Board of Directors is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting that is tonight, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held in person at the Co-Op Mall on 2nd Avenue in Fairbanks, Alaska, inside the Yukon Quest Alaska Gift Shop.

🐾🎨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: YUKON QUEST ALASKA STAKE PAINTING PARTY! 🎨🐾

It takes more than Mushers and incredible sled dogs to make the Yukon Quest Alaska possible. Behind every mile of trail is a community of volunteers helping make the journey safer for everyone. Trail stakes play an important role in race safety. They help mark and guide the race trail through Alaska’s winter wilderness, helping our Mushers and Dog Teams stay on course throughout their journey.
And now, we need YOU! ❤️

Join Yukon Quest Alaska for our Stake Painting Party and help us prepare for the 2027 Yukon Quest Alaska 750-Mile, 300-Mile, and 80-Mile Fun Run Races!

Today we celebrate the four‑legged athletes who bring the spirit of the North to life. From bounding paws on fresh snow to the quiet moments of loyalty at camp, sled dogs are the heartbeat of our race and the soul of our community.

These incredible dogs give everything — strength, courage, joy, and grit — and we’re proud to honor them not just today, but every day on the trail.

Yukon Quest Alaska wishes all our Volunteers a Happy Saturday! And we also want to say, Happy Sign-Up Day to our Mushers!!! Come on down the the North Pole Alehouse to be celebrated and supported!!!

We have Pulled Brisket, Pulled Chicken, Sloppy Joe's, Pasta Salad, Potato & Macaroni Salads, Fruit, and Yummy Brownies!!! All the food is made with love by your Yukon Volunteers and Board of Directors.

Come and enjoy the food, the awesome door prizes, and mingle with new and old friends!!!

Yukon Quest Alaska is feeling the warmth — literally! Thanks to the generous donation of high‑quality jackets from Apocalypse Design and our amazing Office Manager, Barb Gravelin, our Musher Incentive Program just got even better.

These jackets will be proudly awarded to the 750‑Mile Interior Race Champion and the 300‑Mile Race Winner — a cozy reward for their grit and determination on the trail!
