Update - the inbox is CLEAR! I have made it through all the emails as well as the questions that came in on the applications! Response time will be quicker now that the inbox is cleaned up :)

On another note - as of today we are at 232 applications (260 total spaces available) with apps still coming in! Going to be another great year at the Bella Vista Annual Craft Fair!!

Note to vendors:
We do our Jury Day (vendor selection/booth assignments) in the summer (usually end of June/early July) and then send out confirmations by the end of July (takes a while to send out over 250 emails). The vendors that are included in the Jury Day selection process are ones that have submitted an application, paid the booth fee and submitted photos. Those that have not fulfilled those 3 items by the Jury date will be put on our wait list. So I encourage you to get in those items now! As soon as we have a Jury Day confirmed - we will post it here on FB and IG.

Hello Vendors!! Now that applications are open and in full swing (nearly 50 vendors already submitted and counting this morning) - Important message about payment!!

The PTSA no longer has access to Venmo (as we did previously). This was updated in the Application instructions, but we wanted to call it out here as another notice. If you submitted payment to Venmo - we have no way to get those funds back to you so you will need to contact Venmo and see if they can help you.

Payment is accepted in 2 ways - Paypal (link below) OR you can mail a check payable to BV PTSA to the school (8301 Madison Avenue, Fair Oaks, CA 95628).

Crafters!!!!

Please be aware, as a public group page, we see an increase in spammers posting/commenting saying they have room at their fair, etc. Please know this is NOT us!

We are the Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Fair in Fair Oaks, CA and there are only a few of us that run this event. As far as posting to social media - that would be myself (Angel McLean) primarily.

Please know that I review and delete/block people all the time and will continue to do so to try to keep the page as clean as possible. There is no avoiding it but please DO NOT click on any links or anything from those comments/posters.

Reminder - I WILL post a link in April when I post that Applications are opening - stay tuned!

WOW! Applications Opened April 1st. As of April 30th - we have received a total of 188 applications!!!! That's amazing! 30% of those are New Vendors! If you are a crafter or food vendor still thinking about it - we recommend you get your application in!

Here are some quick answers to some of the questions coming in.

Do I need to pay now or after jurying day when booth spaces are confirmed?

NOW. If for some reason you are not selected (rare) - your booth fee will be refunded. The only way you will be included in the first jurying is if you have completed the application AND paid the booth fee.

How do I avoid the additional fee?

The additional fee is for Venmo payments. It covers what we are charged by Venmo to accept electronic payments. If you'd like to avoid paying the fee, you can mail a check payable to BV PTSA to Bella Vista High School, 8301 Madison Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. Please mark on your envelope "CRAFT FAIR" so the school office staff will easily identify and put it in our inbox. Thank you!

If I'm sharing a booth with someone else, can just one of us have a permit?

NO. ALL Vendors need to fill out an application and have their own permit to sell. That permit needs to be displayed at the booth the day of. In the comments section of the application, please just note for us who you are sharing a booth with, so we make sure we don't assign separate booths.

When do we find out we are in and what booth spot we are assigned?

Your BV PTSA Craft Fair Committee consists of 3-4 volunteers, and we are working on scheduling a date in July to do the Jury process to organize and assign vendors. Once the first round is complete - our vendor communications volunteer (Sarah) will send an email out - typically by the end of July. Please be patient - with over 250 vendors - that's A LOT of emails to send out :)
