Spill the Tea Fridays at Ladybird Tea House

A Place to Pause Before the Party.

By Friday, everyone’s burned out and half-costumed. The world moves too fast, even in Fair Oaks.

We started Spill the Tea Fridays for people who need somewhere to slow down before they speed up.

Picture this → sunlight through the oaks, laptops humming softly, a friend pouring lavender-rose tea, someone sharing a story about good grief — what it means to let go and grow.

Drop by between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Bring your work, your sketchbook, or your need for quiet.

Each week, a friend takes the floor for a short Tea Talk — a shared story steeped in real life.
Not a lecture, not a pitch. Just truth served warm.

This Friday, we’ll sit with the theme “Good Grief.”
How endings make space for new beginnings.
How even loss can teach us to love more honestly.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you need.
Bring your journal, your project, or your quiet.
We’ll keep the kettle warm.

And mark your calendar:
Next Sunday, Nov 9 – Garden Build Day.
We’re shaping Ladybird’s backyard into a living classroom of tea, herbs, and flowers.
Bring gloves or an old garden tool to donate. Every hand helps grow the village.

The Village doesn’t just reopen this weekend — it reawakens.

After years of quiet, Village Park and the Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center return to life — four days of music, art, and movement under open skies. From the big stage lights to the small tea lights across the street, something deeper is stirring.

Here at Ladybird Tea House, we’ve been practicing for this moment in our own way — one cup at a time.
Every Friday morning, we host Spill the Tea Fridays (9 AM – 1 PM) — our ritual of slow mornings, warm service, and shared story. It’s where the hum of the Village begins, and where strangers start to feel like neighbors again.

By night, the energy shifts. The Spooktacular Haunted House + Monster Ball (7 PM – Midnight) bring light, laughter, and a little mischief to the Village. It’s theater for the brave and beauty for the curious — proof that creativity belongs to everyone.

Together, we’re building something new — a Village Clubhouse model of belonging.
A place where members can gather daily (7 AM–10 PM) to sip, study, host, or dream.

We’re inviting our first 143 founding members to join the circle at $143/month, helping us sustain this home for the curious, the kind, and the creatively restless.

A Cup of CuriosiTEA: Spill the Tea Fridays at Ladybird

At Ladybird, we believe the edges are where the magic lives. Where steam meets air, where stories are passed hand to hand, where curiosity brings us together.

That’s why every Friday from 9–1 we host Spill the Tea Fridays. It’s not a program. It’s not a performance. It’s a circle — tea poured, stories shared, dignity honored.

Sometimes it’s a neighbor telling us about her mother’s teacups. Other times it’s laughter, rituals, or memories woven into our Village Clubhouse. Every week is different, because it’s built by whoever shows up.
