Get ready for a full weekend of free live music at Waterfest 2026!

Downtown Excelsior Springs will be filled with great entertainment all weekend long, and admission to the music is free.

Friday night brings Waterfest Summer Jam to the Rite-Way Main Stage from 7-11 p.m., featuring tributes to Bad Company, Steve Miller, John Cougar Mellencamp, and Def Leppard. It’s the perfect way to kick off the festival weekend with classic hits and summer fun.

On Saturday, Southern Breeze will take the stage from 4:30-6:30 p.m., bringing even more live music to the heart of downtown.

Then stick around Saturday night as the Josh Collins Band closes out Waterfest from 9-11 p.m. Josh Collins brings a country-rock sound rooted in traditional country and modern energy, making for a great finale to the weekend.

We are officially ONE WEEK away from Waterfest 2026!

Get ready for two full days of summer fun in downtown Excelsior Springs on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27.

This year’s festival will be packed with live music, more than 100 vendors, great food, the Waterfest Parade, Kids Splash Zone, Kids Fun and Games, free trolley rides, hot air balloon rides, car and motorcycle shows, the Quilt Show, ES Idol, the Rotary Water Fight, Smash Car, and so much more.

ES Idol gives singers ages 16 and older the opportunity to perform, connect with the community, and compete for a $500 grand prize. Finalists will take the stage during Waterfest on Saturday, June 27.

Bring the kids to the Hall of Waters Lawn for classic Waterfest fun!

The Kids Fun and Games area will feature simple, family-friendly games like ring toss, ping pong ball toss, and more. New this year, families can also look forward to the Duck Gutter Race, a fun new activity making its Waterfest debut.

Game tickets are just $1 each, and Venmo will be accepted.
