Thank you to everyone who made today a success, including: our judges Rob Tapper, Cassio Vianna, Marina Albero, Deb Schaaf and Meghan Wagner, Keith Corning at the Everett Civic Auditorium, Megan Vinther and Serena Wiltse at Everett HS, Drew Baddeley (stage manager), our festival director and HM Jackson HS Bands Director Mike Lundquist, and Most Importantly our parent and student volunteers and Jackson High School Band Boosters.

Thank you to the directors, adjudicators, bands, volunteers, students and audience members who made today at a great success!

In particular I want to thank Megan Vinther and Keith Corning for all of their help with the venue and organization at Everett High School and Everett Civic Auditorium.

I also want to thank the Jackson High School Band Boosters and the Jackson Band Students and parents for all of their help in organizing and running the event.

Thank you to Drew Baddeley and Shayla Hetletvedt for their tremendous help throughout the day!

Finally, thank you to our amazing crew of adjudicators: Chris Bruya, Kate Olson, Greg Williamson, Marina Christopher and Freddy Fuego for sharing their passion, wisdom, immense breadth of knowledge and experience with us all. I can’t thank you enough.

We look forward to doing this again next year on December 2, 2023!

Good morning,

Downtown Everett is in great shape with no new accumulated snow. We understand that conditions in your area may very, but we will proceed with the festival. We look forward to a great day!

Given the current snowfall in north King and Snohomish counties, we will post an update and notify participants of conditions by 6am. Downtown Everett is not likely to see nearly the precipitation that is predicted in some outlying areas. The roads to the venue will be in much better shape than surrounding neighborhoods.

Weather permitting, we are so excited to welcome a host of great bands to the inaugural Possession Sound Jazz Festival at the Everett Civic Auditorium on Saturday, December 3rd. The event is free and open to the public. We have some phenomenal adjudicators that will be conducting clinics with each band. They include: Chris Bruya, Greg Williamson, Kate Olson, Marina Christopher and Freddy Gonzalez!
