What a wonderful day!! There aren’t enough words to express how thankful we are to all of you that came out to see us today. It was so great to see so many friends and meet so many more. You guys are just amazing. It’s crazy that we won people’s choice. We had no idea that was even a thing. And all the donations were so unexpected and so appreciated. Because of your support we raised over $1500 for the American Brain Tumor Association!!

Thank you Funk in the City, Inc. for the most fun I have had in a long time. Ashley, Chris and all the staff do such a great job pulling it all together. I know you guys had a hand in making the sun shine!

Today was also bittersweet. Not long ago Katie was in a booth there next to us and I hope she was watching today. I hope she heard us remember her. I hope she saw all the smiles and heard the music playing. I hope she was dancing with us in her favorite shoes. I hope she knows how much we all miss her.

Tomorrow we will be at Funk in the City, Inc. down on Haynie's Corner (Arts District) from 10-5. Admission is free and the weather is promising to be beautiful!!

As some of you may know we lost a sweet wonderful soul last year. Katie Proctor Schiff was suddenly taken from her family and friends by a Glioblastoma tumor.

In the face of this tragedy some of us got together and created Katie's Caps. It's a collective of women that knit/crochet hats to sell and 100% of the proceeds goes the ABTA (the American Brain Tumor Association) to help fund much needed research so that maybe one day other families won't have to suffer this kind of loss.

There will be all types of vendors and some great food booths. If you are out and about- or looking for something to do- please stop by. I hope to see you there.
