On International Jazz Day, Taste of Evanston is giving a big, joyful shout-out to two fabulous musicians who have brought so much flavor, soul and swing to our events over the years: Donovan Mixon and Chris Greene.

When they play, our gatherings come alive. The music grooves, the mood rises and Taste of Evanston starts to swing.

Come out tonight as they join other jazz musicians for Evanston Celebrates International Jazz Day at 7 p.m., April 30, at AKAR Auditorium @ The Church, 2715 Hurd Ave. Admission is free.
