📣 Attention Young Farmers & Ranchers (Ages 18–35)!
Join us Friday, June 20th, at the Redwood Acres Fair for a fun way to give back to the next generation of ag kids!

Due to efforts to prevent the spread of avian influenza, there will be no live poultry or dairy animals at the fair this year. However, the fair board has come up with a creative solution—youth exhibitors with poultry projects have made posters to showcase their hard work.

👉 That’s where YF&R comes in! We've been asked to help judge these posters and support these exhibitors. In return, you’ll score a beer (or soda) token to use during the Redwood Acres stock car races that night.

📍 Meet us at the Judging Pavilion between 5:00–6:00 PM to grab your scorecard and drink token.
Let’s show up, support the kids, and have some fun doing it!

Congratulations Kevin! Kevin has been a staple of our Livestock program for years , as a true agriculturalist, he will be a fresh voice on the 9th District Agriculture Board.

Governor Newsom announced today Kevin Alto, of McKinleyville, has been appointed to the 9th District Agricultural Association Redwood Acres Fair Board. Alto has been President of Kevin Alto Equipment since 1998.
Alto is a long time fixture at the Redwood Acres Fair, volunteering with the Junior Livestock Auction.
Redwood Acres Board of Directions and staff are excited to welcome Kevin to the team!
