We showcase horror, thriller, dark comedy, and spooky sci-fi features and shorts. Welcome to the Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival, presented by the Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl! Nestled in the notoriously haunted and picturesque town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, this festival is a grand celebration of the horror genre in all its forms, including classic horror, thrillers, and horror-themed sci

-fi. The film festival will be hosted in the historic 900-seat City Auditorium. Films will screen on a 26 foot screen from a brand new 14k projector. The Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival is presented by the annual Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl. Take a break from the silver screen on Saturday to join the undead horde and apocalyptic vehicles as they crawl through the winding downtown streets of Eureka Springs in one of the nation’s largest Halloween spectacles! Festival Highlights:

• Discover a curated selection of films that span the full spectrum of the horror genre. From edge-of-your-seat thrillers to dark fantasy and otherworldly sci-fi, there’s something to terrify and enchant every fan.

• Eureka’s Haunted Legacy: Find inspiration for your next project by diving into Eureka Springs’ ghostly history with guided tours and events that explore the town’s chilling true stories and haunted locations.

• Zombie Crawl. The film festival coincides with Eureka Springs’ famous Zombie Crawl. Festival-goers are invited to partake in the festivities, adding a unique undead twist to the horror celebration.

• Interactive Workshops & Panels: Gain insights into the science behind horror films, the art of special effects makeup, and more during workshop sessions led by industry insiders. The Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival invites horror enthusiasts and filmmakers to converge in Eureka Springs for a celebration of spookiness, mystery, and the macabre. Horror fans we have some exciting news! Our very good friends at College Station Theaters here in Springfield Missouri are bringing in Dave Yohe Co-Director/Writer of The Daemon! I got to see the film nearly 2 years ago at Nightmare in the Ozarks Film Festival and now after the iourney from a Festival Juggernaut to being picked up by Cineverse and spending a record 5 weeks as the #1 film on they're streamer Screambox the opportunity has come to see this film on the big Screen!
