It’s time to celebrate 20 years of carving magic at Carving in the Ozarks in Eureka Springs, Arkansas! Join us for a weekend full of jaw-dropping chainsaw artistry as talented carvers from all over the country turn big logs into even bigger works of art—think bears, eagles, and wildlife like you’ve never seen before! But it’s not just about watching art come to life (though that’s pretty awesome).

There’s food, an auction where you can snag a carving of your very own, and a whole lot of fun in the heart of the Ozarks. Plus, it’s a great way to support local organizations while enjoying a weekend surrounded by amazing art and nature. Don’t miss this unforgettable event that combines creativity, community, and a whole lot of chainsaw power.

🪵 CARVER SPOTLIGHT — Dan Allenbaugh

Coming in from Liberty, Missouri, Dan has been carving for about 4 years after deciding to put a couple old chainsaws to use and create something new.

His favorite thing to carve? Faces — bringing personality and character to life in wood.

One of his more unusual pieces? A frog reclining on the back of a turtle 🐸🐢

Fun fact: his middle name is actually Chain… feels pretty fitting 😄

At Carving in the Ozarks, he’s planning to carve a tiki and a gnome, and his dream project would be teaming up with other world-class carvers somewhere like Hawaii or Alaska.
