UO Hip Hop Jam

The UO Hip Hop Jam is an annual event organized by the Hip Hop and the Politics of Race FIG to celebrate hip hop music and culture.

Moon Rock Records:
Located on West 11th is Moon Rock Records, a groovy spot for used and new records, tapes, music toys and even vintage stereo equipment.
One of the highlights is their walls of more collectible records for you ballers out there.

House of Records:
Located near campus, House is a legendary spot in town going on almost 6 decades. With lots of new and reissues of tapes and records and cds, they have an amazing selection of used records. Every Monday they drop hundreds of records in their New Arrivals Bin.

Epic Seconds:
Jump on and off the bus downtown on West 11th and you will find an awesome assortment of used and new records, as well as used cassettes, cds, video games and consoles, VHS tapes, and posters (and plenty of other treasures) at Epic Seconds. Upstairs is an awesome art gallery with new exhibits often.

On campus reppin for the 12th annual UO Hip Hop Jam. We about to announce our amazing lineup. Show is Dec. 4, 6:30-10pm in the emu ballroom on campus. It’s free and open to the community. We also will be raffling off classic rap records donated by and .rock.record.shop and movie passes to and tell your friends and family. We are adding an open dance cipher 9:30-10pm, so show out!!!

Just so you know we are coming the the Emu Ballroom Dec 4, 6:30-10. As usual, the event is free, all ages and open to the community. This year we are doing more breakin and dance, including an open dance cipher 9:30-10.
