Hey UPtoberfest supporters! It's cold outside, but this will warm your heart. Today, members of the UPtoberfest planning team toured the Escanaba Student Success Center, one of the recipients of funds from UPtoberfest 2025. We met students and learned about the many ways they receive not only a great education, but tons of support. Tutoring and mentoring, cooking classes and gardening clubs, on-site social work and counseling, even basic needs. If a student needs help with food, clothing or a place to do laundry or shower, the ESSC provides it all. The students, faculty and staff expressed deep gratitude for the donation from UPtoberfest.

One of the things we are most proud of is the charitable component of our festival. Since 2009 (when Bay de Noc Brewers took over planning), UPtoberfest has donated more than $190,000 (with our primary charity, the United Way of Delta County, receiving $135,000 of that). Thank you all for making this possible! And mark your calendars for UPtoberfest 2026 on October 10th!

The best day of the year is finally here 🥳🍻🍂 Before we welcome everyone to Ludington Park for UPtoberfest this afternoon, take a look at these important reminders! ⬇

🔔 Please be aware that the current construction on Ludington Street might block your typical UPtoberfest route! Here's an easy way to reach the festival:

1. Go east on Ludington Street to 10th Street
2. Turn right and stay on 10th Street until you reach Lake Shore Drive
3. Turn left into Ludington Park

🍻 PRINT-AT-HOME TICKETS
1. Go to the "CART OVERVIEW" of the Order Confirmation email received after purchase and click the link
2. Click the orange "PRINT TICKETS" button under "Delivery"
3. Print this PDF and present your tickets at the door to gain admission to the event.

🍻 "I can't find my confirmation email!"
From Brown Paper Tickets: "Everyone gets 2 confirmations when the payment processor is PayPal. They will get their ticket's confirmation email from us with the details on how to view their tickets, and they will get an email from PayPal for their payment confirmation.

One confirmation can take a bit longer than the other, but they should be getting both. Sometimes the email address on the order can have a typo, while the email address they have on PayPal to pay is okay. Some issues can always occur, but they can always reach out to us so we can see what may have happened."

Looking forward to seeing 1,000 of our friends on October 11th!

For those who didn’t get a ticket, please be mindful of how slick the scammers can be. There are no will-call tickets this year, but there are mobile tickets and print-at-home tickets. Last year someone got taken by a print-at-home ticket that a scammer made. Be very cautious about buying tickets from someone you don’t know personally.

We try our best to remove scammer posts as soon as we see them, but we can’t always get to them immediately. Buyer beware! For those with tickets, we’ll see you there! 🍻
