The Erie Balloon Festival is a spectacular celebration of flight, family fun, and community.
⛰️📍: Erie, Colorado Erie, Colorado, has a strong tradition of hot air ballooning that started in 1996, and has become a significant part of Erie’s identity. Our annual festival takes place during the second weekend of July and is free to attend. Join us and witness dozens of hot air balloons peacefully ascending into the clear blue skies of Colorado, against the backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains.
