Erie Open The Erie Open ... A Tournament For Sanctioned Erie Area Bowlers The tournament is open to the first 144 bowlers. All matches will be one game.

You must be a local resident or are currently bowling in an Erie County league with at least 36 games in. The tournament director reserves the right to increase or decrease the total number of entries at any time. Any previous PBA Tournament winner is not allowed to compete. A Standard "House Condition" will be the condition of the tournament. The tournament will consist of a eight game qualifying

round, 4 each day. After qualifying there will be a second round where the top sixteen will bowl 8 match play games each day. Ties for the 16th position will be broken by a one-game roll-off. (All Scores are dropped before the match play begins.) All matches in the finals will be decided on the basis of total pins with the match winner receiving 30 additional bonus pins. In the event that a match is halved, each bowler will receive an additional 15 bonus pins. Once the top 16 is done the top 5 will go on to bowl TV Style to determine the winner. Total pinfall will determine the position of the finalists and the top 5. The entry fee is $100.00
